South of Qiaohe Station, just across the road from the sports park and hospital
The closest neighborhoods in the same city.
Qiaohe is the residential block south of Qiaohe Station on the Circular Line, with homes concentrated in Bihe Village and Pinghe Village. The station sits on Bannan Road between Zhongshan Road and Qiaohe Road, right next to the Erbazhang Industrial Zone; only this small sliver of Zhongyuan Village, where the station is located, falls inside the neighborhood. Walking south out of the neighborhood brings you to Jinhe Sports Park, which has a softball field, a swimming pool, tennis courts, a 400-meter track, and hiking trails.
Just outside the south edge of the neighborhood is Shuang Ho Hospital, which was upgraded to a medical center in March 2024. In street-view photos, buildings rank 38th, putting it in the middle of the pack among New Taipei's 100 neighborhoods. Six villages fall within the basic school zone for Jinhe Elementary School, though the school itself is in Jinzhong Village, just outside the neighborhood.
Public transit ranks 44th, which is toward the lower end among New Taipei's 100 neighborhoods — Qiaohe Station is the only MRT station in the neighborhood. Sidewalks rank 61st, toward the lower end of the middle tier, so watch your step when walking around.
Jinhe Elementary School is quite young — it was only established in 1985 as an offshoot of Zhonghe Elementary School. Shuang Ho Hospital opened just south of the neighborhood in 2008. The Circular Line opened in 2020, bringing Qiaohe Station into service. The April 2024 Hualien earthquake caused track misalignment on the Circular Line's Banxin–Zhongyuan section, which took Qiaohe Station out of service too; it didn't resume operation until December 12.
Phase 1 of the Wanda Line is expected to be completed by the end of 2027, according to the timeline released by the New Taipei City Department of Rapid Transit Systems. Liancheng-Jinhe Station on the line is being built underground on Liancheng Road, just east of Jinhe Road, right within the neighborhood.

Maps show the shops and the sights. What a street is like, you only know by walking it. TidyMap uses AI street imagery analysis and public facility data to turn each area's street environment and everyday convenience into something you can compare. Search an address and look at the street outside first.
How to read it: yellow = poor, blue = good; grey = not enough data
TidyMap rates the street environment and everyday convenience. It does not assess the home itself, safety, noise or actual living experience. Street environment scores use AI assessments of imagery; convenience scores use public facility data.
